We are going to be leaving the Canadian Maritimes mid-September heading for AZ to be there by October 15. So we have lots of time. Would like to earn a few bucks along the way - Any thoughts?
Thanks!

Sorry to answer this question with a question but it is somewhat on topic. Can Canadians work in the US and can USA citizens work in Canada?

To answer Mr Camper: Yes, I have a Canadian friend who spends about half the year in AZ, working for my former company as a consultant. He does the same work, mostly for US companies, whether he's in Canada or the US.

Thank you. We are thinking about doing the workkamping thing in BC shortly after spring begins and will be starting the process and the first thing we wanted to know was whether or not US citizens could workkamp in Canada.

Actually, we are US citizens. I should have stated that. We are currently on Prince Edward Island workamping for our site. No, we cannot work here for cash without the long drawn out process of a work visa.

I am sure the fruit growers in Washington state would be more than happy to see you. Yakima valley area or wenatchee.

A Canadian would need a work permit to take a paid position in the US, just as a US citizen would in order to be paid for work in Canada.

It depends on what you can do. I work as a subcontractor, from home, downloading work from the client. As long as I have an internet connection and a laptop, I can work.
What kind of work can you do?
