I have a 2009 Roo 23B and cannot figure why the awning is blue, when the TT is white/marroon/tan/and metalic gray accent striping. You would think it would be one of the colors of the trailer. I think it takes away from the good looks/styling of the TT.
Blue ... and I like it. In fact, while sitting under it the other day I was thinking it would be nice if the underside were a nice light blue ... like those wide southern porches which give you that sense of the open sky.
OK, all repliers. Thanks for the feed back. I guess I am the only person that it bothers a little bit.
I just wanted to make sure this was the norm. Also, Yes, (as of August) they did change the graphics on the outside and there is a maroon swirl. Thanks all!
We got lucky, one of Shamrock's primary colors is green. All models have green on them, and our awning is green! Factory probably just got another bulk supply as the 2009s that were on my dealer's lot and opened were both grey.
Our original awning was blue - also the vinyl trim on the bunkends and a portion of the decals. But since our little awning disaster several weeks ago the replacement is also blue, but is the acrylic rather than vinyl. The underside of the vinyl awning was all white, but the acrylic is the same blue stripe as the topside. I was afraid it was going to darken the area, but does not seem to be a problem. We did notice this past weekend that, as advertised, the acrylic is more breatheable and supposedly 22% cooler - whoever came up with a number for that had too much time on their hands.
