Creamed peas and potatoes. I usually quarter them when used for that.

A bamboo stick, some lamb or tenderloin, onions slices mushrooms and yes the potatos. Normally I soak them in a marinade for 1/2 hours prior to bbqing them. Now this a wonderful idea. I would have never thought of this. These will be on my next shieh Kabobs!....Linda

I'm not too interested in the ham or bacon, but the green peppers sounds good, especially since most of us add some salsa over the top anyway, unless it all got used the night before.

I use them for this too. Also, empty a can in some green beans and cook them with some bacon or ham. Not to bad!
Mom uses them a lot as she says it is hard to fry potatoes for just one person.

That was going to be my suggestion too. I used to use them camping with the kids, but I think they taste funny. OTOH, my boys would (and will) eat about anything that doesn't try to eat them first!

I put canned pototo's in the crock pot with my corned beef. The juice gives the taters a great flavor

Au gratin potatoes.
One can of sliced potatoes (if I only have whole, I'll slice those up and use them)
About a cup of white sauce with onions in it.
Some grated cheddar.
Layer it all in a small casserole dish. Bake for while (35-40 minutes?)
Quick and easy to prepare, bakes while I grill the steaks, makes just enough for the two of us, and is Yummy
