I see alot of posts about front end bunk leakage while towing in rain. Of course this is not s scientific poll here but I am hoping that all Hybrid owners will post a easy response yes or no if they have had this problem. I am just trying to find out how wide spread this problem is. I have a 2006 Shamrock 21SS and so far I have not had this problem but then since I have only towed in the rain once even though I have gone camping almost every other weekend since March (Dam I am lucky when it comes to weather)I might have the problem and just do not know it yet

Thanks for your response to my Poll!!

See you around the campfire

Yes, though we considered it minor. We had to be towing in HEAVY rain, and ended up with a small amount of water inside the front pass-thru storage bin. Never anything inside the living space of the camper, and no soft spots - at least not in 3 years.

We had a small problem with a little leakage in our previous HTT when we towed through heavy rain. The dealer performed a warranty repair on it but we never had a chance to tow in heavy rain before we traded in to purchase our current TT.

Answer: No

But I will add... Not yet. We have towed in heavy rain and it has sat closed in heavy wind-driven rain and no leaks, yet.
I will be replacing the seals sometime in the future with the thicker version.

NO!!!! we haven't!!!! (just copying your exclamation points to be silly) We've had it in storms and driving rain on I44 and aimed water at it for leak tests a few times now. But then ours is 2009 and I think the seal issues they had were fixed for 2009. We made the dealer do a high pressure leak test when the trailer got to his lot from the factory in front of us before we wrote the check along with the other tests (gas, plumbing and the like)

Jayco 23B--yes. Dealer caulked in April. Leaked again in July. Will be taking it back.
