In doing some research on the Super C's I saw someone post about an '07 dutchmen that had severe weight distribution issues.
Have any of you taken your rigs to a truck scale? If you wouldn't mind please tell me what make model you have and what the measurements were per axle, and let me know if that is wet or dry, these things have huge fuel and water tanks so that would make a big difference.
I took my Seneca 34SS to a truck scale with a typical load of gear, water, and LP. Sorry, but I kept the print out in the RV and it is at storage right now. The total was 19,550 pounds. I can report that the front and rear axle weights were comfortably below the allowable maximum.
I don't intend to keep a full charge of water unless I'm going dry camping. Otherwise, I will keep the water between 1/3 and 1/2 which should be enough to
use the faucets without damaging the water pump.

where do you guys go to weighed? highway truck scales? i know i've seen scales at some gas stations, but i haven't seen any around my house. the only other truck scale i know if is at the local dump.
I go to a local moving company. They charge $6-8 or so. You just drive up on their scales, get out, go in & pay, and they give you a printout.
2006 Gulf Stream Super-C Model 8316 (Chevy C5500 gasser)
Loaded for a trip, including full fuel, FW, & propane. Two adults.
Front axle: 6,120 lbs
Rear axle: 11,180 lbs
Total: 17,300 lbs
It probably weighs a bit more this year since we tend to accumulate stuff in it. We've got some margin against GVWR, though.
I consider myself lucky because there is a massive truck center just a 10 minute drive from my home. They have 30 diesel pumps, LP, truck scales, truck wash, the attendants are super friendly, and there is lots of room for all of the rigs to move around in. Some truck centers can be cramped and seedy.
All right, sounds like they are all in good shape then. I'll keep me a list if anyone has any additional measurements that would be great.
Bit Writer what did you mean about using the faucets with out damaging the water pump? Are you just saying if you run out of water and run the pump dry it will be damaged?
