Make sure the trailer has a fully charged battery when trying to run the air, your built in charger could be useing up to 1000 watts of your generators output to bring the battery back up.

Batteries were fully charged. I even unplugged the microwave and turned everything off I could think of and it still wouldn't start up. I contacted my local RV shop and inquired about a hard start capacitor and he told me all of the newer rv air units already have hard start kits on them. He offered no other explanation as to why it won't run with my generator even though I explained it runs my other ac just fine. So, I guess I am on my own. Since I am a little electrical dysfunctional, I will try and figure this out hopefully with more help from some of you. Thanks.

Try unplugging your inverter. Mine draws 975 watts. if I do that I can run my A/C with my honda 2K.
