I found it odd that on F350 and up models the manufacturers don't even put the mpg on the sticker. So I guess it really don't matter to the one's that are purchasing them.

I have to agree. We all love our favorite brands and mileage is - although important - not a primary concern.

Funny how people rush to compare the weak but mileage miser 5.3L Chevy to the better pulling 5.4L Ford. FWIW the 5.6L in my Titan may get worse mileage but towing it will walk all over the 5.3L GM. I know. A friend has a chipped 2008 5.3L GMC with tow package with a comparable TT and I buried him climbing all hills were went up on the trip home last year. I'll gladly give up the empty mpg to have the confidence and power to not worry about hills and maintaining highways speed.
Please also note the MPG wizard GM mentions is not equipped to tow much of anything. It is the epitome of weekend Home Depot and dump run special. 2wd, standard cab, and more than likely a 3.55 or higher rear. Probably lucky if it has a 6,00lb tow rating.
