Who Knew. Airbag dash light flashing 4 times, pause then 6 times.
Turns out that means a loose connection under the driver's seat.

Found the answer on the web, Fairly common for fords it sounds like.

In my case I'm sure it came from storing coach manual under driver's seat and stretching that connecter.

Unplugged and re-plugged all is well

It sounds like the system wants to know if anyone is sitting in that seat, if not it might not set off that air bag in an accident, or the weight of the person in that seat. On my Ford pickup I can turn off the passenger side air bag, but when I do it turns on a yellow light on the dash. Its for small kids.

I just went through this with my Exploder. Who wudda thunk you could Google that code and the make & model and land right in the middle of a forum on how to fix it..
