DUH! My mistake. Sorry. I was hearing and thinking Big Country, but typing Bighorn. The model I was salivating over was a Big Country, too. What would you do if you "heard and thought" LANDMARK instead...P your pants?

Purchased a Sundance 3200ES after months of looking and searching. We have been very pleased with our choice. Only things added were slide toppers and a satelite. Price, Construction, ease of towing. Have used it 22 days in the last month and a half. No problems yet.

I took the plunge and bought the Big Country 3250TS. We took delivery on Tue and so far it is all we expected. We are trying to get loaded up and take a trip next weekend.
If you can afford it now is the time to buy a new rig. They are really giving some good discounts. That is what opened the door for us to afford the BC.
The BC has a lot of standard equipt that is optional on other trailers. There is not even many options available because it is pretty well loaded out. Compared to the Prowlers that we have owned in the past this baby is plush and well loaded. We looked at a Cameo and it to was a very good price ($20K off msrp without a trade) and it was really plush. Actually it was way more plush than I felt comfortable with. I am just a practical person and real fancy is not my cup of tea.
I had the 2nd air installed and rear elec. jacks in addition to a couple of options that were already installed.

congrats on the new BC. Kind of hard hauling making a living then on your days off pulling the 5er on long trips, I'd bet. Will your old truck bypass the scale house or will it want to stop ?
We've sure enjoyed our RVs with the slower pace with no schedules to keep.
Enjoy it.................

Here's a Forum Search for 'KEYSTONE COUGAR'. You should find a great number of "opinions/experiences" here, (I didn't take the time to read any...just posted the link.
Enjoy the journey....

I am totally retired now so I have to work around others schedules to make a trip. My schedule is open most of the time. I tend to keep it that way if at all possible.
You seem to know that I used to haul rv's, horse trailers, etc. Yeah, the truck may want to stop at the weigh scales. It obviously has been there a few times over the last few years. I have been thru the toll house in Big Cabin a few times also. I tried to avoid I-44 as much as I possibly could. I don't like that toll section.
