Now even using the $4.55 price you quoted the savings only decreases by $30. Still cheaper to take the RV.

After seeing how some people behave in rental cabins I would sleep on the grass before I would rent one. Some things can't be cleaned up enough.

Any reason you cannot take both vehicles?
This would allow you to tow the camper, but use the F150 for any side trips you might want to make. You'd still come out ahead financially vs. renting a cabin.
