I am looking at buying a new Honda 2000 Generator from a local guy here in Newfoundland. He purchased it brand new from the U.S. Will Honda honour any warranty here in Newfoundand, Canada??
There have been some post about not honoring US warranties in Canada, but that was on cars/trucks. I'd call Honda and ask.

They sure wouldn't honor the warranty on my 1997 Goldwing in 1998 when I had a cracked cylinder wall on Prince Edward Island and nursed it to Lunenburg Honda. Nice enough dealer, but Honda of Canada is absolutely DIFFERENT FROM HONDA OF U.S. Told me to take it back across the border to the US. I was from Florida at the time and was an unhappy camper. Took my dealer 2 1/2 months to repair it. Ended up going by 4 times a day to get it done.
