Karen,

No problem we will be bringing a load of firewood, Apple crisp, & brownies for the Pot Luck, & Macaroni Salad for Friday Night.

What do you need for Extension cords? Any idea on lengths. I can bring a couple 50 ft 12 gauge, and 1 75 ft 12 gauge if needed. I also have a 3 prong adapter that goes on these heavy duty cords.

Any idea on time for friday and saturday meals?

Hi All

We just returned from our annual NAFCA Fall rally at Newport, RI. Per usual we had a really good time , catching up with folks we haven't seen in a year, nice sunny days camping right at the beach!

Well with just one more trip booked it looks like DB will be our last trip of this busy season, as much as I'm looking forward to the rally, it ends the season on a sad note that we didn't get to visit some of our favorite places this year. I guess that will be the big motivator for next year!

So Karen with it getting cooler any thoughts about sledding this winter? Bruce T, Gakpiper and my self were planning our snowmobile trips for the upcoming season over this past weekend, looks like Millinocket,ME. is our targeted destination this season, along with a few weekends up in the Sunapee area snow permitting of course. Your welcome to join us if your busy schedule will permit, hopefully we can hook up with Steve and Liz for some great riding in south central Maine.

Back to work unloading and shifting things around in the yard.

Jay

Thanks for the food contributions. I'll add them to the list.

I'm thinking the 50 ft. extension cords should be fine. We will need to set up our cooking area for Fri. night. (lights, etc., and the same for Sat. night, including crockpots. What time do you plan on arriving on Friday?

Friday night will be an ongoing event as people arrive. Probably from 5-8pm. If people arrive later than that, all the grills, etc, will still be there for people to use. Everyone will be bringing their own burgers/hot dogs for their Friday night consumption.

As for the pot-luck - we'll shoot for our usual time of 5pm. for those of you planning on hot food. Gerry and I will have our chaffing dishes for anyone that needs to put trays of hot food in them.

Does anyone have a coffee urn we can borrow? I have one for coffee, but since our sidekick, Hutch, won't be there, we'll need another for the hot water for hot cocoa.

Jay, haven't even thought of sledding yet. Still trying to make it through my heavy fall schedule. ;-)

I also verified with DB today that they will deliver a table and trash can to our group site. We can set this up on site 7 like we did last year.

Geez Hutch, now I have to think of all the things you normally bring that I take for granted have been there in the past. Lights, tables, extension cords, coffee urn, burgers... the list goes on. This would have been a lot easier if you had planned your "Dress-Like-Your-Dog" event on a different weekend!

Speaking of Wild Fires, I can bring some more scrap wood from the carpentry shop if we need some just let me know?

I'm still hoping to get Friday as a PD, if so I'll be up on Thursday Night.

Karen,

Hoping to be there by 4:00-5:00 pm. I hate setting up in the dark.
Thanks,

Greg
