We are considering moving up from a 5th wheel to a motorhome in the not so distant future and would like candid opinions of the Winnebago Tour. We had numerous QC problems with our 5th wheel along with a very unpleasant experience with the company's management. We dont want to make this mistake again want real life owner's opinions of the Tour. If you fear being labled a "basher" if you post regarding a bad experience, feel free to PM us instead... Thanks

Had a Winnie prior to my present MH, they a make pretty good product, only reason I didn't go with another one is that they don't have the floor plan I wanted.

I still have my Horizon and still like it. Good coach for the buck, not fancy, but functional. I would buy another Winnie if they had a floor plan I liked, but as the old song goes "it's cheaper to keep her".

We've been very pleased with our Itasca Horizon. Winnebago only makes motorized units (unlike a lot of other RV manufactures who make everything from pop-ups to buses) so they know the motorhome owner and product very well. Winnebago owners tend to be very loyal to their Winnies, and that says something!

WE've owned about 12 Class A's. We now have an 08 Tour with the front kitchen, TV mid cabin. LOVE IT!
Drives great, floorplan is functional with slides in, amazing with slides out. Fireplace is a blast ... especially on "cozy" nights if you know what I mean. They appear to be listed at a price point slightly above similar size rigs, but with today's market, you can probably negotiate a decent price. Good Luck!

We bought a new Winnebago DP Vectra TD, and we love it. We bought it last year. It also has the front kitchen, and we can use the bathroom, the bed, and the lounge and kitchen when the slides are in. It is very open with slides out. Very homey, and we have had no problems other then little minor adjustments. Would buy another in a heartbeat.
Good luck to you in your search, and purchase.
