Well You could give him something else to worry about. But Seriously, I too use to worry, and fret about stuff. But then you realize. Things will tear, they will get dented, and scratched, Tires will fail. It don't mean you stop taking care of them. Just that things age, and wear.
And as you age, and get priorities in order. You realize that "things" come in a poor 6th in your life. Behind God, Family, friends, camping, and jobs. It just takes a while to figure that out sometimes.

I found my first year to be pretty stress free as to the PUP I have. But now that it's 3 years old, I'm checking everything regularly. Warranties on some of the amenities will be running out. Thus far this year, I've replaced the tires and the battery. Some of my caulking in my shower needs to be re-done, and outside, while I thought I was keeping it clean, the corner caulking is developing some mold spots.

No, you are not alone.

We have been RVing for some 10 yrs and over 50,000 miles. We take an extended trip or two each year lasting 3-6 weeks and 2500-6000 miles. On every trip something has gone wrong. Anywhere from a simple window blind clip breaking, to electrical problems with the trailer brakes, to landing gear failure. Our joke each trip is "what will it be this trip". Things always happen on holidays or Sunday when service is not available, right! Well now we just solve the problem and our on board equipment and hardware kit grows every year. Heck it's half the fun of RVing.
