This may not be the appropriate thread, but here goes.

Like most of us, I need more kitchen counter space and storage. I bought a folding solid wood kitchen cart from Target. Perfect. It has a solid wood top, 2 shelves made of wooden slats, an optional slotted knife storage, casters and handle. Without the options, it is 32" high, 17' deep, 33" wide and folds to a 5" depth. It will fit exactly in front of the wall that is exposed when the main slide is extended. $139.00 and free shipping. It weighs about 40lbs but we do not have weight issues with our MH and an additional 40 lbs is not a big deal. If anything, I may seal the top surface to protect it from water, etc.

Just trying to share a "good" thing.

Iris

PS - it is not available in stores, but if you don't like it, you can return it to the store.

Where do you put it when the slide is closed?

Do you have packed tubs to quickly load and unload the shelves? I like the idea of the table, but I hate all the setup and teardown processes.

Lornaduck, I haven't gotten to that point yet. It may slide into the space between the slide wall and the kitchen wall, but I haven't tried it yet. If not there, it will certainly fit between the dining table and the wall or in the space between the end of the bed and the exterior wall for travelling.

I just weighed it and it is only 35 lbs, not 40.

It is the only folding cart I could find, and I may not put on the options. It does not need to roll and I do not really need knife slots.

Burgess - I intend to use it for the George Foreman Grill, Crock pot and toaster oven as there is an outlet available and it will be extra space for cooking rather than prep work. The shelves will most likely hold a wine rack, 12 pack soda fridge dispensers, water and other things that are usually stored under and around the dining table. Since it will have to be folded for travelling, everything will just go back to it's normal storage area. It is just for use while "parked" with the slides out.

Sorry, no pix. But you can see it at Target.com then type in "foldable kitchen cart" into the search section.
