I hope someone can help.

I pulled into a campground last night. I went to turn on the satellite and TV to catch the Olympics. Everything was working fine for a couple seconds and then it all powered down. The rest of the plugs in the coach work fine and the inverter light is lit up at the command center.

I tried everything from resetting all the circuit breakers by the bed and resteting the GFI in the bathroom. We are going to be here for a week and a half and I would really like to see the Olympics.

I am sure I overloaded the circuit somehow I just don't know where to reset it.

Steve, give Jayco a call, you'll get a real person who will be able to get you going on the games! Do you have the exterior entertainment center, also?

I have a call into them now. No tech available so I am waiting for them to call back.

Yes I have the exterior one also. Why do you ask?

I heard that they are connected to tne same power source and if something blows out there, the inside unit also goes out. Just a thought!

I checked the outside center. Seems like everything is working fine. Thanks for the heads up. It was worth a try.

I hope I did not fry the outlet.

The inverter has a breaker on the front of it. I would bet this needs to be reset. On my 34SS the inverter is located behind the grille in the bedroom under the wardrobe closet.

Liquid:

A couple of weeks ago I was plugged in at a location where the power was apparently weak. All outlets and lights worked except for the front entertainment center (TV, DVD, and Sat Box). When I turned the air conditioner off, the TV would come back on. If the A/C was on the TV would turn off. This did not affect any other outlets in the coach. I disconnected the shore power and fired up the generator. All systems worked normally. I don't know why, but that is what happened. I havn't had this problem since that one night. I'm not sure if the Seneca has a safety device that shuts the TV down when amps are low, but I assume it had to do with low amperage. I was plugged into 30 amp power at the time.

Do you have the ability to test the shore power, or maybe try plugging into another power source?

No real ability to test the shore power but I can try to unhook for a few minutes and run off the generator to test it. I will let you know.

Thanks for the idea.

Sorry to say. I did not help.

Fired up the gen and still nothing at the entertainment center.

It's looking more and more like wiring. I really hope it's just a reset or fuse that I am missing. Good news is I have setup a spare TV and the campground has cable. The wife is not happy having a TV on the kitchen table but at least we can see the U.S. go for some gold medals. The kids can also get cartoons if it rains over the next 2 weeks.

If anyone has any other suggestions please let me hear them. I would like to get everything back where it belongs and the entertainment center working again as soon as possible.

BTW - Still waiting to talk to a Jayco Tech. Cell signal is spotty so we keep playing phone tag.
