I am looking for your recommendation for the best aluminum roof sealant
(vs. an aluminum roof coating which sometimes is only used to reflect light/heat and doesn't work as well as a "sealant" which seals the smaller holes and cracks).
What do you recommend?

If you want to fix it year after year with $5 a tube caulk of some type that's the way to go. If you want to take the time to properly apply $40 worth of Eternabond tape to the seam areas. It will most likley be a one time fix.
