I have all the parts to make an auxiliary fuel tank for two twinned Honda 2000's, but I can not find any gas caps. I have been to two Honda dealers, Lowe's and Home Depot and a lawnmower repair shop to no avail. Has anyone got a part number or model number, for replacement caps. I can buy the vented caps for about seventeen dollars each but I am trying not to have to do that.

I ave read on here that those that have made an extended run set up just used a Honda lawnmower cap and drilled a hole in it.

I wish I could help you more but I bought my caps several years ago and mower cap came from a Honda model that started with the letter H. that's all I can remember.

I had 2 buy one that's made for my generator before I got one that would be air tight and suck the fuel out of the marine tank like it's suppose 2...Not that I got it working though it sure is nice to not have to worry about the generator.
