Take some time and watch some of the Olympic competitors who won't become household names. . . very cool competition. The emotion from the medal winners at the end of the shoot is inspiring.

Interesting that at that level they are missing that often, although they don't miss many.
No surprise they are all using automatics, though it would be a whole different ballgame if slides or over/under side-by-side double-barrels were the weapon of choice.....

Upon further reading, looks like the Gold medal winner, Walton Glenn Eller, is a 26 year old from the Houston area who is on the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit. (Reference.) The guy who finished fourth, Jeffrey Holguin, is also on the Army Marksmanship Unit.
No semi-automatics out there, only over/under shotguns are being used that I saw. I might make one other small correction. I did not see one weapon out there, only sporting firearms. They aren't weapons any more than a car is. Missing often? Any idea how fast those targets are moving? If it were easy, I might be out there.
