Show me a link to were diesel is cheaper than reg unleaded gas . Diesel is much higher in every Flying J in the US. In Oklahoma City reg unl gas is $3.339 and diesel is $3.999.
Oh here we go... "Show me a link" cause a link will state fact. Look psd, I never said it was cheaper, but at the safeway 4 miles from my house it is 7 cents more, pretty close to me considering your doom and gloom diesel posts have it "never" being cheaper than gas again. Considering the same place had it at 60 cents more the day prior I would say progress is there.

I could careless how much it is at flying J, in NJ or OK, the only place I care about is right here. As you can read, prices are all over the place. Heck, as far as I know, the station screwed up and it will be 4.40 tomorrow, but that is what I pais for it and the other members in this area might want to know.

old school diesel was less refined than gas. LSD was about the same as gas. ULSD is more highly refined than gas. Thus, ULSD is more expensive than gas. Nice to see it comming down though, I just hope the average american does not lose interest in drilling more.

Oh no...wait that can't be. He is always correct. Maybe we can see another picture of a station showing their prices. But he doesn't buy gas, he only rides a bicycle, we have all seen those pictures too.
The price spiked and is now going down due to higher reserves, less overall demand, more production, and the possibly of greater reserves and production. It is the classical supply and demand scenario.
Now to all those people who sold out on the peak thinking dooms day was here, you can't chase rainbows.
Just a month ago we saw postings where people were selling their RV's and getting out of camping because they could not afford it anymore. What they really could not afford and what they did is to sell the RV at a significant loss, sell the tow vehicle at another significant loss, and then buy a compact, gass sipping vehicle at a premium. One could buy a LOT of fuel fr the money wasting on that foolishness.
NOW is the time to buy a RV and a tow vehicle. RV dealers will sell cheaper now than during a booming market. Same with tow vehicles. Just last week, the Dodge dealer was selling any 1500 series gas powered pick up truck in stock 50% off MSRP! He had over 150 in stock and the only requirement was to finance it with Chrysler Credit. Since I pay cash for my vehicles, I was committed to payments for at least 3 months or leave a $1500 rebate on the table. Lets say my son is now driving a new truck. Nice present from Dad, eh?
