Here's the most current version as of last Friday...
1st Annual Bike ‘n Hike OH Rally - Maumee Bay State Park - Sept. 26-28, 2008 (Officially un-sanctioned)
Maumee Bay State Park
1400 State Park Road
Oregon, OH 43618
Campground reservations: 866-644-6727 or online at:
Maumee Bay State Park
About Maumee Bay SP:
The campsites are open and spacious and border natural meadows and ponds which are open to fishing. Five miles of asphalt “bicycle/pedestrian” trails. Bike rental available. See website for additional information as we have never been there and that’s where I copied this stuff from!
About the Rally:
In honor of Tony’s birthday, we decided to go somewhere we’ve been meaning to go but haven’t yet. So we chose Maumee Bay as we have heard it is nice for biking and hiking. We posted where we were going and before we knew it, it was turning into a mini-rally!
We will be arriving Friday evening, hopefully in time for dinner!
The dinner menus for the weekend will have the “Mason Dixon” theme as we will be bringing pierogies on Friday for Northern night. And we will be providing fried chicken on Saturday evening for Southern night! Sides to be determined at a later date. We will also be enjoying Ziploc omelets on Sunday!
As far as what to bring each night, we’ll eat most anything so if you’re not comfortable with the theme, just bring something!
Saturday’s activities will include biking & hiking (weather permitting) with optional euchre games (you professionals have to take it easy on us beginners!).
Sites:

BlueMax – 81
Todd & Bonnie – 115
Dandy Dan - 116
Ralph & Betsy - 80
Jim & Carol - 82

Most of us who come in Thurs. usually go out for a bite to eat. Lori and I feel that after watching the menfolk set up we get too tired to cook. What is really great is they feel sorry for us so they take us out.

Mell, so sorry to hear about your grandmother. Grandmothers are very special.
Don't worry about the rally.
Everyone understands your loss and don't worry about things back home.
Add my condolences too.
