Hi, I am looking to get a light weight tt with slide. Currently we are pulling a tt 25ft older 92 great shape but need extra room. Only problem is our vehicle we pull with is a ford f-150. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks

What size engine and rear end? What does your manual say you can haul with the specs of your specific truck? Can't answer the question without that info.

If you're tall, a lot of the "lightweight" branded TTs skimp a few inches on height. . . just FYI. . . they could be very important inches depending on your stature.

Is this a duplicate post?
In the last one I commented that `light weight with slide' is an oxymoron in that as soon as you add a slide the weight goes up more than without one. The chances of finding a `light weight with slide' are slim.
At least look at www.trailmanor.com where the heaviest rig is about 3500 lbs.

You might consider the R-Vision Trailsport TS25S. It has a dry wt. of 3,548 lbs. with a GVWR of 5,880 lbs.

There are plenty of TTs with bunk houses, with and with out slides. that F150s can and do tow with no problems. Jayco has a couple, as do Puma, and Dutchmen.

We have the F 150 (though we can tow 7,400 lbs) and tow a KZ Spree 240 BH. I think loaded it is around 5,500 lbs.

Cheers,
