I did a search and didn't come up with anything, so here goes...

We were told not to use them on our Winnebago by the owner of the dealership.

Generally not considered a good idea. If for some reason the rig settles or shifts you are putting a great stress on the slide out and may cause problems.
The slide outs are made to hold their own weight so no real need to put jacks under them.
Some will say they (the jacks) help to stablize the rig. For the potential problems (and cost thereof) the additional stabilization isn't worth it (in my not so humble opinion)
We are all good at something.....
I just happen to be a good bad example.
Occasionally in error but never in doubt.

no on the stands, while they seem to make it more stable, if the unit settles and the stand don't you will be creating force on the side outs. This may depending on the amount of difference in the forces damage them. I live in my TT full time and have the side out without the stands and with no problem.

No to the stands. If you want stands you should have bought a pop out. Your slide out is flanged to make a seal on three sides. If you put tons of pressure on those flanges which will happen even if you rock the unit you will either pop out the wall, or break the flanges off the slide out giving you more space inside, but not very weather resistant. Your slides are made to handle weight without being supported. Also, as mentioned above, you can damage your slides if your rig moves, even slightly, while you have the slides supported.
They are an all around bad idea.

Wow! I guess the consensus is not to use the stands. When I read the manual that came with our unit it said not to put anything under the slideout. So "no stand" vote for me too.
