Thanks mg, any sources for the Dexter stuff.

I buy from the local Dexter Distributor at wholesale. If this option is available to you it is normally the cheapest route as this stuff is heavy for shipping.

Double check your axle spacing dimension the kit linked is for 35" spacing. (hub center to hub center)

Local Dexter Distributors
Dexter

If this is not an option I have heard that Shadow Trailers is reliable but don't have first hand knowledge.....

Monroe 555005 x4. Got them form Stengel Bros. off the web. Fabricated new mounts that were inspired by the Monroe mounting system #RB512 and RB513

Pics at Shockwarehouse but Stengel Bros prices are better delivered to the door.

Monroe Kit page Click the part numbers for pictures.

Stengel Bros Monroe page

Two issues to consider....
1. Original shock mounts on frame need to be removed
2. Water Tanks supports may have a clearance issue...

If paying some one to do this -use the Dexter EZ Flex or similar system -it will be cheaper and effective.

I like your mod idea of a threaded end for a hose when dumping the fresh water. I hate wasting water so I was using a bucket to remove the extra water and watering the plants.

Neat but very brief article. I see disc brakes in the future for my trailer. I actually like shocks better than the EZ Flex System but the EZ Flex system is a little cheaper and easier to install for most people. Anything you can do to prevent the transmission of energy from the road to suspension to coach interior is a positive IMO.
