Does anyone know if it is possible to get a splitter for a 7 way? Both my truck camper and my cargo trailer want to plug up, but I only have one on the truck.
Also when I plug my camper into the truck I get no interior power/lights. I thought I should, I have an inverter on board, could something be wrong? Do I need to install a battery in the camper for them to work? Come to think of it the lights inside my cargo trailer quite working too when pluged in to the trucks 7 way. hummmm..
We have a 7 way with the extra four way converter on the side. This came in handy when we were wiring our Honda CRV with brake assist and extra lights to tow behind our TC. Not sure who makes them.

I have one of these on my truck. I ran the long end up to the front of my bed and mounted it to the bedwall like the 5vrs do. One of these days I intend to remove the plug that connects to my truck's trailer plug and wire it directly into the back of it for a cleaner appearance.

Yep, thats exactly what I am looking for, glad to know it is done, I just need to find one. I will check locally then go online. Thank you so much!
I will have to try the turn my ignition on sugestion for my inside camper and trailer lights. I thought I had but maybe I did not have the key turned far enough. So the outside running lights work even if the ignition is off but the lights inside only work with the ignition on, correct? So then my frig and outlets (inverter)will only run on the 12v if the ignition is on unless I install a battery? Thanks so much!!!

Correct. To prevent you from running down the truck battery, the manufacturer designs the system so that power is only supplied when the truck is running. To be certain that everything is working right, you can start the truck and test everything.
If it still won't work, make sure that the appropriate steps have been taken to sctivate the charging line. Some manufacturers require you to add a fuse or connect a wire.
I was able to have a local hitch business build me an adapter for $30. No luck on the 12v to the camper interior, just not working. I plug in the 7way from the camper to the truck and all I get are exterior running lights. I am headed out for the weekend, but I will post up what kind of converter is on board etc. next week. Thanks
