Oh, man, I'll never get DH to CO if there's a chance of snow in mid-Aug.!

Just drove from Silverthorne home this afternoon. It WAS snowing at the Johnson/Eisenhower tunnel and close to snow at top of Floyd Hill and Genesee.

I just heard on the news that I-70 at the tunnel was closed earlier due to a multi car accident due to the weather.

For those in the heat, Just thought you would like to know

US 34 Trail Ridge Road from Rainbow Curve to Milner Pass is closed because the area has 6 inches of snow and temperatures in the 30s.

The clouds have finally lifted to see more than just to the next house...
...significant snow on Peak 8!

Kinda' neat out there... thunder, lightening & snow.

Snow during a thunder and lightening storm at night is one of the most incredible weather events. Just awesome to sit and watch that.
