Havent been to Walker River yet, but we did drive by it to check it out. Looks like one could ride for miles - reminded me of Arizona riding.
N-trouble - where do you camp when you ride Boca/Stampede area?
Is there room for a large rig?
We like Cisco because you can ride out from the rig, but now we've covered all the trails and lakes. Although, we did find some really tough ones on the backside of Signal Peak.
We love the Hope Valley area, but unsure where we could park our 5er. It's kind of big.

We camp at Prosser lake Ranch Group campground (located on ReserveAmerica website). There are no assigned camping spots there. It is basically a big area right next to the lake and you can pull in just about anywhere. No problems getting a big rig in there and you can ride right out of camp. You can either ride East toward Boca or North towards Stampede. Check it out if you've never been there. Highly recommend

We went to the Bridgeport Ranger Station yesterday for a new map. The guy at the counter was hired on a grant to revise OHV trails. He seemed optimistic that we would gain some ground. He was quite interested in some old FS maps we have.

Now that's some good news for once. We need to hear more of that, a ranger that's looking to inventory old routes so we can use them. What was the Ranger's name? I'd like to pass it along to someone that's planning a dual sport ride up there next month.

Sorry, I didn't get the guys name, but he did seem interested and enthusiastic about the project. I hope he does us some good.
