Added a 2nd ac unit (Dometic Duotherm 13,500 btu) over the weekend and found out the fan runs all the time. I understand this is how it is suppose to work. The compressor is the only thing that cycles on and off.
What Can I do to have the fan shut off when the temperature is correct? The other ac does work like one in your house. Right now it is a non ducted unit with the controls in the face plate.
Thank you for the help.
Thanks,
Mark

One who knows what they are doing could rewire the fan to come on with the compressor. But I don't reccommend it unless you really know what you are doing.

If you have the AC wiring diagram and have experience with wiring and controls it should be fairly easy to wire the fan to come on only with the compressor. However, as tvman44 said, only if you know what you are doing. Also, you probably will void the warranty by doing it.

The wall and window units they use in hotel rooms have a little switch just inside the cover to switch the fan between cycle/continuous. Don't suppose such a switch exists in your unit. Eh
