I love it when members post pics...Thanks!

Campground looks great. We don't see many palm trees up this way.
Glad to hear you had a good time and Happy anniversary!

p.s.
I would worry about those antlers coming down, but the ticks and insects that deer carry as well. I got a tick in the worst place a MAN could imagine and you don't want that...trust me.

Thanks for the anniversary wishes, hopefully there will be many more. We went to Tennessee and stayed in a cabin for my birthday this year and Hunting Island for the anniversary, so we are planning a trip to the Smokies in NC for her birthday and a trip to Jekyll Island for the 2nd anniv.

I would definitely hate to get a tick, period. We were feeding the deer just from far away but he started getting real pushy so I slowly eased away and started throwing the food, then suddenly out popped a raccoon to steal the food (he later got the eggs out the cooler.

DW and I were there about a year ago. I believe we were in spot 124. Hunting Island is a very nice park and we plan on going again. We just sold old home, downsized to smaller home, just about settled into smaller home, just about ready to hit the road again.See you 'round

I actually was trying to get site 124 since we always stayed there when I was a kid but it was booked up.

What's it like there during the winter?
