If you know where you are going to camp, you might call the campground and find out if they have any games you can borrow, like cornhole, lawn jarts, bocce ball, lasso golf/ladder ball, croquet, etc.

Other ideas:
-Set up an obstacle course using stuff you'd already be taking.
-Card games in case it rains - Uno, Rummy, War, Spit, etc.
-Good old fashioned relay races, three-legged races, etc.

Good luck, and have fun!

I would call the camp site and see if they recommend anything. A few of the campsites we stayed at had birthday parties at the playground for other children, we had our kids in the fall and winter, so they miss out in a summertime birthday party.

We are celebrating our daughters Sweet 16 by taking her and a couple friends on a camping weekend. Not sure how this idea would be for your situation, but I am planning to buy a folding bag chair for each girl (there are only 4) and a bunch of fabric paint, and letting them go to town decorating their own camping chair, then they can take it home as a souvenir

Hi.
Our daughter's birthday is on the 29th of this month, during Labor Day Weekend.
We're planning on going camping that weekend and we promised her a small birthday celebration for her birthday. We're taking a cake and a PiƱata (typical Mexican tradition).
There's going to be maybe 4 other families camping w/ a total of about 12 kids.

I need help coming up w/ some easy games to play w/ the kids for the celebration. This is the first time doing games for us.
What are some games we could play w/out too much hassle while camping??

Musical camping chairs, come to mind

thx!

My wife always does this stuff. She does pin the tale, they do crafts with painting (THE GIRLS LOVE THE CRFTS) top toss, and water balloons are fun.

I've gathered some great ideas. Some of them may be some trouble 'cause our other girls are 4 & 3.
We are not camping at a RV park. We're dry camping in a National Forest! More fun, IMHO!
