Sounds real high-tech, able to go 40 miles on a charge. My golf cart can do that. I am not impressed.

Your golf cart won't go 80-90 mph though.

Don't bank on GM getting this thing to market anytime soon. They are still trying to figure out how to get 35 MPG from a computer controlled four cylinder gas burner. They will never get this to work. From what I have read it only has a range of 40 miles anyway. I live farther than that from work. What am I supposed to do walk home?

Walk? Not at all. After the approx 40 miles, the I.C.E. kicks in. So if you live more than the range it is absolutely no problem.

There are over 33,000 people on the waiting list for the Chevy Volt. GM has is in full swing with this vehicle, and has already shown the range to be that greater than 40. Check out: http://gm-volt.com for more information.

Has any one seen any info on this Vehical. This would be a sweet toad.

Cheers

There has been no information on whether or not it will be 4 wheel towable. I don't think the 4 down towing thing is in GM's "need to do" list for this car. But the technology behind this car is in GM's plan to equip in many cars, not just the Volt, so perhaps it will be 4-wheel towable in some model, some day.
