There have been several (maybe many) on this forum over the years who have spoken openly and honestly about the WW situation and how if they didn't address their quality and customer service issues, it would ultimately doom the company. Yes, there were some who seemed happy to see WW suffer and go out of business. I'm not one of them. However, the business facts and writing were all over the proverbial wall. Many WW owners spurned and tried to hush those who spoke the truth about this issue over the last several months. This is not just a WW problem. The RV industry for the most part builds shoddy stuff and then doesn't support it very well after the fact. We as customers need to demnad more. We should form an RV user association with some teeth to provide feedback that will only be ignored at the peril of the RV manufacturers. Other industries have proven over and over again that quality can be designed in to the product at lower and lower costs. New materials and lean manufacturing processes will work. The RV manufacturers who figure this out will eventually be king in this industry -- IF they will listen and involve the customer voice in the process of redefining who they are.

Maybe the teeth are biting and the RV industry is currently being redefined. When consumers demand cheap******that is what we get.
If 1/10 of 1% of the 8 million US RV owners were to read this forum it would help. Most buy without knowing what they are getting or what to look for just like when buying a car or truck.

They buy cheap, then camp at Walmart and get more cheap stuff.
An association would probably become just another discount camping group, with a slick magazine and overpriced baseball caps.

The fiberglass/filon exteriors need to be eliminated. The vast majority delaminate.
2003 Jayco 308fbs eagle 33' tt, towed by a 2003 Ram 3500 slt, quad cab dually, cummins diesel ho, trailer towing package, with 6 speed manual. Hauls better 1/2, 3 kids, myself, and a 2003 ez go clays car.. I have added so far, neon lights, clearance lights, back up lights, black light, lift kit, mud tires, and everything necessary to make the golf cart street legal. It's now ready to spend the winter in the garage for more mods. More neon, strobe lights, alarm, a pa system, maintance, and whatever else that comes along. This golf cart does wheelies and travels thru 7 inches of mud when need be. Two honda eu2000i gens twinned to supply the electrical power. Latest addition an 04 Honda Goldwing. I'm on my 3rd RV w/ a fiberglass/filon exterior
Over the past 12 yrs of ownership, NOT ONE has delaminated!

I don't buy cheap **** scivvies, or TTs....you get what you pay for, or in my case, what I built......
FWIW: The WW owners/market DID define who WW is....they asked for it, and they got it....

I, for one, knew exactly what to look for in my last TT and I got an excellent one. All the amenities we wanted and quality build. Had to replace the water diverter on the bottom of our shower door and retighten a water fitting. Maybe I've been extremely lucky. Did replace the Goodyear Marathon "May-Pops" with quality Maxxis tires tho.

Good thoughts here. Maybe use Winnebago as an example. They seem to survive all the ups and downs and I see a ton of OLD units still on the road and working well. Have a friend with an older pusher and it's a little faded but inside and underneath it works great.
