They came back with another offer and paid our price. I knew they really wanted the house. So their realtor is preparing the new contract today.
We are almost "homeless". Can't wait to get out on the full time life. We have the 4 season 5er the truck to pull it an we are ready!

That is wonderful news! I was hoping this is the way it would turn out!
We are also waiting for ours to sale.
Each time I hear of someone selling their house I think of a nest of baby birds.
The baby birds wait patiently in their comfortable nest until it is their turn to leap out of that confining nest and spread their wings for all of the new adventures life holds for them.
All of us left in the nest wish you well.
Remember you are not "homeless" you are houseless.

When we sold our realtor suggested we list for what we were willing to accept within the $20,000 less range and still wind up getting what we really wanted. She explained that we had to be reasonable in our price but to expect less as buyers are in bargain mode now. If we had listed at what we accepted, then buyers would have come in with a lower offer than what we actually got because everyone is trying for a "deal". We listed at an average range for the area after researching actual sold prices and sure enough it worked. Buyer's came in about $22,000 less than asking, as expected, we countered, and they went up $5,000 more for it and it was right what we had hoped for. Was on the market 46 days which is pretty quick for our area right now. We rented for a bit while we then searched and found a lovely ranch with pool in another town nearby. I just love it!
Congrats and I'm so excited for you to now plan your being on the road!!
