I am working on a charging problem on my 97 Monaco Executive. According to my schematics, I have 2 breakers (1 20a and 1 30a) that are located on/at the "rear run plate inside bed deck".

Does anyone know what/where this is? I cant find these breakers.

Our different MH has a "bed deck" that supports the mattress. Ours contains the water tank and storage accessed by lifting the top (mattress platform). Maybe its under your bed. Good luck!

My bed raises up but all there is there is motor, I will lift the bed and see if perhaps they are bolted to the side wall or something, I do have breakers over the bed but I thought all of those were a/c breakers that controlled the inside of the coach, I will look there too.......

thanks

Dave..they should be under the bed on the firewall opposite where the disconnects are. Disconnects are on the passenger side..breakers on the drivers side. They are not like the breakers above the bed that control your A/C. They are small silver or black with two posts on them. I have attached a link and a pic for your info...good luck...what kind of problem are you having...? ..maybe we can help....Dennis

Have older model coach and I can see electrical gear when top matress is lifted before engine is uncovered. Then other relays and fuses located in Electrical compartment outside where lectric cord is stored Hope this helps

Good info, thanks.......I have an intermitten alt failure light and tach false readings which I believe we have the fix for, to bring you up to speed, there new batteries, with complete wiring service, cleaning and tightning, new altenator, voltage measurements at the alt and the batteries are 14.3 volts, voltage at the key switch at the dash is 14 volts, voltage at the tach and alt fail light is 12v. The coach is wired from the alt through the voltage reg to the alt fail light to the tach. The voltage reg that was on my coach is now obolete, but I have purchased the upgraded reg made by the same mfg, problem is that they sent this without a single lable or instructions. I contacted the mfg hot line and they have now helped me label the new harness provided but it is not plug and play, there needs to be some splicing and plug changing to match the altenator..........so my friend and I have been pouring over schematics making sure we understand the process before diving into this.

To add to my problem, and we are hoping it too is related to the voltage reg, when running the motor, with the alt light off and correct tach signals, all is well and everything is functioning properly, when engaging the genset and after the inverter kicks in, the alt (by measurement of voltage at the alt and batteries) quits charging, the volt gauge on the dash drops to fail, the alt light of course comes on, the tach drops to 0 and if you have the dash a/c on, you can hear and feel an rpm change in the a/c blower motor. It does not happen if you have the engine running and plugged into shore power, All works as supposed too. We are hoping that the bad voltage reg is getting a signal from the genset that there is plenty of power and shutting off the altenator.....or I have a bad diode in the isolator, we are baffled by this one.

I was looking for these breakers to further check for loose connections or corrosion.

You have any thoughts on this one? I am open to suggestion.

thanks

p.s. the thermals (breakers) I was asking about, schematic indicates they are in this charging system between the dash and the voltage reg
