Bring a huge supply of patience, big crowds and two lane roads. We are currently in Sand Castle RV park which went from a few units last night to full this afternoon.

Be sure and drive down to Cape Disappointment State Park and check it out. Drive up to North Head Light House. Great view. We were there two weeks ago.

We are on the way and will get to Long Beach tomorrow. This is our eighth consecutive year.
Get to the beach early if you want to park in the lot there. It fills up fast. I can't say how late "early" can be. We are there by 8 AM. Things are usually slow in the morning because wind does not come up until later in the day.
A lot of people bring small sun shelters. The best place to set up is on the sand dunes above the flying fields. Don't forget the sun screen lotion.
Dugger's and Debbie's are good family restaurants. If you want more upscale food try the 42nd Street Cafe. Laurie's is a popular breakfast place. The bakery on the main drag has great pastries.
