Well, after helping a friend install a Pressure Pro system on his coach and toad, and doing some reading and comparisons, I purchased a Doran 360RV system and installed it today.

The Doran was much easier to setup and install and is working great.

I think my friend is having regrets after seeing the Doran

I have the Pressure Pro and it works fine. But I tend to agree with ChaosAgent that the specs on the Doran seem better.

With either system, you should consider changing to metal valve stems on your toad. I was able to upgrade my Saturn Vue to the metal valve stems from a Saturn Outlook. The rubber valve stems may fail due to the added weight of the sensor.

That's one additional point for the Doran. Although my coach tires have metal stems, the Doran kit comes with small plastic collars secured by set screws, that fit over the valve stems before you install the sensors that support the weight of the sensors and keep the stems from flexing due to the additional weight.

My 2 cents worth
PP has saved me leaving camp site with low presure twice. So you figure 2 tires that at least may had shredded at $700 it has paid for itself.

The Doran system is very new and while it may very well turn to be a good system it has very little history at this point.

The name Doran has been around for a while, but until this year they were a distributor for Pressure Pro with a private labeled PreassurePro system.

Pressure Pro is what we have and it has been great - so has their support from the factory. We have had it over a year. I have read and been told by tire people that the major cause of blowouts is running a tire at low pressure and it heating up and coming apart....This could help prevent that from happening so with me it is a family personal safety thing. It is also nice to be able to get up and punch a couple of buttons and check your pressures without crawling around -- but the safety is the major benefit. I have heard of people with a toad flat tire and actually dragging the toad down the highway on a rim and not knowing the tire was flat back there...

We bought the PP system because it has been around for a few years, there are a lot of them out there in use and is a proven product.
