Seems to me that everything that people complain about happening at Wal*Mart happens at the CG's as well. Draining grey water, staying for multiple days, having their slides out, etc. At least at the WM you don't have to leave to go shopping for that one thing you always seem to forget.
I read a book called The Millionaire Next Door. That guy staying at WM for free may be a millionaire and that's the reason he is. I fully believe that if people want to give something away for free then I should have the right to accept it to it's fullest. Want to get away for the weekend? Go park at the SAM's Club, and wander around the food samples and get your meals for free. Go home having enjoyed a weekend away from the house and the normal routine and still have the money in the bank...

Some cities such as my hometown of Omaha, Nebraska allow even black tank evacuation in most of the city, directly into the storm sewer drains on any public street. Checked with police authorities in Omaha, then cut 'r loose. Your private property deal is BS, since there are storm drains on private property as well. As I wrote, you should know what you're writing about, and where, before putting foot in mouth.
If Nebraska allows dumping black water tanks into storm sewers then I'm glad I don't live within 500 miles of that place. Tell me, do you let your kids go swimming in the creek also? Nice! And y'all thought that smell was the pigs!

Yes. It was a picture of the decrepit RV, with a sewer hose leading in the general direction of the nearest parking lot drain. The RVer was in the picture, the police had been called as was the WM store manager called and present. They did nothing because it's not illegal to drain gray water. Just the nutcases get worked-up over gray water. Notice the OP didn't post pictures, or follow-up with LEO and WM management. Some people have too much time on their hands. I dump gray water any place I won't be harrassed by a PITA citizen. Police don't care, since it's not illegal to let 'r loose. I use a tad more discretion when draining black water.
Welcome back Joe, I missed you and I disagree.
IMO, no one has a right to dump water, trash, etc on anyone else's property without their permission. With some people you can never tell what they are dumping. Perhaps it is grey water (still shouldn't do it without pemission)or a combination of black water.
Been reading on here where people have been equalizing their black and gray water and in some cases their campers dump gray directly into the black water tanks. Unless that PITA citizen checks or notifies someone, how are they to know. I certainly wouldn't want to be around something like that.
Clueless.
You must have chose not to read where the WM manager and local police authorities were called and PRESENT! WM and the local police thought nothing of the RVer with his sewer hose extended, why play PITA citizen, when you don't know what you're talking about? Here again, you're trying to BS. It all depends on where you are. Duh!

I have nothing against overnighting at WM. You post about it being O.K. to dump in Omaha. That doesn't mean that it is O.K. to dump in storm drains anywhere's else. YOU need to go back and read the original post that this happened in Montana and that it appeared that their was more than grey water on the PARKING lot and not a storm drain!
You reference another incident that was not part of the original post. It may have been lawful to dump grey water in your example but there is no evidence that it was acceptable to WM or the manager. I'll pull my foot out of my mouth but you need to look where you have your head planted.
We may disagree but I stand by my opinion that dumping grey water and/or black water into areas where others may be exposed and have to look at it in a PARKING lot is unacceptable.
17 Pages...
Wally World threads draw much bigger crowds then Flying J, and those "they cut thru my campsite" posts. The only ones that come close are the ones that have anything to do with dogs...

Now, don't get yer pantyhose in a snarl. You know how some people have a plastic Jesus ridin' on the dashboard of their car? Joe has a troll doll.
Key word here is in title of orig. post"campers" it's NOT a campground ppl...Duh! and if posted "No Overnight" as many are then police have every right to issue summons to offenders, because the rules are not set by Walmart but rather by county codes/enforcement.
Sea Dog wrote: Why are the RVs pictured at Wally almost always class A`s?
Perhaps the folks should spend a hundred grand less and have some funds to stay in a CG.
We have a Class A AND, the funds to stay anyplace we want. We only just started stopping at Walmart because it torques so many anti-Walmart people We don't do it for frugality, rather for easy access/egress, no low hanging tree limbs, unlevel sites or low voltage issues. It also helps not to drop $30-40 bucks for 6 hours sleep. If we were doing it to save money, we wouldn't have spent the extra money for a 7K generator, Solar Panels, holding tanks etc.
This HAS been a great fun thread. But some on here have missed the real point of all wally docking threads. HOW TO DO IT !!!!
I enjoyed the pictures of the rvs parking, but question keep coming up ?????? (stolen from the GEICO commercial)
Where are the bbq pits, chairs, tables, ashtrays, carpet, awning lights, fido on a lease tied to the step, tanks being dumped or at least sewer hoses laying on the ground, generators under the front, running, smoking, emiting deadly fumes, no flamigos, and worse of all, no guns laying against the fiver. No satelite antennas? Should there not be more than one rv wally docking? Junk hanging from the back of the ladderts? Seems like everytime I do it, there are 10 or more of us. (Suggest some take pictures of an rv dealers lot and fabricate a REAL wally dockers situation)
When and if you learn how to wally dock, then and only then are you permitted to complain about wally dockers. (Kinda like people walking thru your rented sites, you cant complain till u been there)
Get the facts straight, then straighten out the facts.
