Has anybody stayed at the Ponderosa RV Park in the Pinetop/Lakeside area of Northern Arizona? What did you think of it? How are the sites; is it clean; well-run; things to do? We are thinking of spending next summer there since we live in Tucson and it would be convenient for us to come and go. We are going to check it out on way back from Wiscsonsin. Thanks...

Not familiar with Ponderosa RV Park, but there is a Ponderosa Campground, a forestry run campground, on 260 between Payson and the rim. If that is what you are inquiring about, there are no hook-ups, just water and vault toilets. Its OK...we just prefer to go higher up ourselves.

Go to: www.ponderosashadowsinc.googlepages.com for information. The park is an Airstream Park at 5900 Show Low Lake Road in Lakeside, AZ

It's actually the Ponderosa RV Resort at 1666 Ponderosa Lane, Lakeside, AZ. They have a web page, but doesn't show any pictures of the sites although it looks nice and has lot models and cabins plus a nice clubhouse, full hookups, etc. Just thought maybe somebody had been there. Can't find any reviews on it except for 3 testimonials on their website. Thanks though for your responses. Barb
