I was looking at the Winegard Travler but am now interested in this dish. If I"m understanding it right, you just set it on the ground, plug in the wires and it finds the satellite all by itself or do you have to aim it and find the best signal strenght?
Two things that concerned me about the Traveler were one, its mounted on the roof and may be covered by tree's so it might not work and two, it looks like its pretty tall when in use and worried about wind load on the dish stressing the roof. Not sure how its actually mounted. The VuCube sounds like a better deal, its cheaper but I"d be afraid someone would steel it.
To discourage theft I use a locking alarm cable designed for notebook computers, and place mine on my MH roof when possible.
The VuQube is aimed by obtaining the cooridnates and using a remote control to align the dish to those coordinates. Two sattelite positions can be saved in the VuQube and easily recalled manually when channels require it.
Search forums for vuqube, vu cube etc for other posts about use and security.
