For those who don't know, we left our 5B/3Ba. house for sale in Arkansas, moved into our fiver and brought it to Texas and are sitting stationary, fulltiming it. Here's how it's gone since May 15th.

Benefits: ...where do I start? Everything!

1. Better sleep,
2. eating better (eating out less cause I love to cook in the 5'er, but not so much at home...go figure!)
3. I've lost 10 lbs. so far!
4. Appetite has decreased too.
5. We swim every night, getting exercise and Bill's bloodsugar was 67 the other night and we didn't do much but sit and pedal a bike on floaties for about an hr! (67 is too low, but what a difference from over 200!)
6. Bill's are CHEAPER than at 'home'. Once the house sells we're going to be living REAL high on the hog - more travel!
7. Travel - speaking of...we've gone to Sedona, AZ. and now planning a trip in a couple of weeks to Alaska - on a cruise
8. Seen LOTS of our 6 grandkids this summer - bonding is better - making lots of memories and having a ball.
9. We argue LOTS less...we get up smiling everyday and at least once everyday one or both of us say "I LOVE my trailer or I LOVE my lifestyle!"
10. We've confused the kids...they keep watching us and trying to figure out just who these 2 people are that they thought they knew...hee, hee, hee !
11. I've read 4 books and started a 5th - never seemed to have the time back 'home.'
12. I can get up and walk around in my gown without a housecoat on - back home we had our 2 sons and daughter in law almost right up our butt and they were in and out, so that's not happening anymore. YEAH!
13. We have the perpetual feeling of being on vacation, even when we do 'normal' things, like grocery shopping. It's all new again. When it gets old...we'll just move! YES!
14. I've actually started quilting again! It's been 4 yrs. and I can't wait to do even more!

One drawback:
1. We've had to go back to Arkansas to fix a leak on the house and had to deal with the realtor over the phone and make sure people were taking care of the house.

We need prayer for a sale ya'll! Yee Haw! I'm glad to be back in Texas - HOME!

We have plans that change daily - that's the fun of it...but we HOPE to be able to go out on the road with the 5'er in the spring of next year. We've already got a campground picked out for the winter - 2 mins. away with more amenities - 2 pools, 1 indoors, so we can keep exercising! They even have regular water aerobics classes!

We feel snug as a bug in a rug - got our roof cleaned and re-conditioned, everything's in good working order, I have everything I want - even some things I don't need, but want...and a place to store them when I don't want to drag them around the country. Not too bad, I'd say.

Nothing but good wishes coming from MN. Hope the honeymoon never ends.

Six more weeks and we become snowbirds for the first time. Hope we have as good of a go as you two.

Hey Linda, I'm suspicious. How did you lose 10 lbs. while I gained 15?
