Do a search on Mohican State Forest. There is quite a few campgrounds in that area. State park is beautiful, with full hook-ups. Loudenville as well. Canoeing very popular in the area.
Try Evergreen RV Resort. Evergreen RV Resort
The Ohio Rally group camps there several times each year. Full hook-ups, cable, indoor pool & hot tub. It is in the heart of Amish country.

Ohio Amish country, primarily located in Holmes County is a great experience. My parents were born, raised and buried there and we have been back often throughout my childhood and adult life.
More Amish live there (over 40K)than Lancaster County, PA. Berlin is a little touristy but not ruined. Visit Boyd & Worthmans Restaurant in Berlin (pronounced BURR lin, not to be confused with that city in Germany) for a roast beef sandwich with gravy. Go to the town of Mt. Hope on Wednesday when the Amish have a big livestock and hay auction and farmers market. There is also a flea market there. Hundreds of Amish buggys and horse drawn wagons lined up. Across the street is Lehman's Hardware with a large assortment of farm stuff ie white gas powered irons and hundreds of various gas and oil lanterns and lamps for Amish clientele. Just ride around and sight see. Charm Valley is filled with Amish farms. You can see for miles and not one telephone pole in sight. Keim Lumber in Charm carries amazing and interesting wood working tools for the Amish. The little towns around are nice too, Millersburg, Glenmont, Killbuck. They are mostly like they were 30-50 years ago.
I recommend Scenic Hills RV Park; not many trees but nice people and usually have free firewood. Free wifi last time we stayed there. We haven't stayed at Evergreen, but hear it is nice. More money than Scenic Hills. We don't care about the pool, but your family might. Also, no bath house; its for RV's.
The butcher shop in Winesburg, near Berlin, has lots of specialty sausages, smoked hams and bologna and the prices are reasonable. The county is famous for its Swiss cheese and whole cow bologna. Trail Bologna (from nearby Trail, Oh) is best known but I think think Winesburgs Meats version is better.
Amish made furniture is a big industry there and there are lots of furniture places. If you do go a MUST SEE is Warthers Carvings about 25 miles away in Dover on I-77. You won't believe it unless you see it. I have never taken anyone there that wasn't amazed. Nothing to do with the Amish, but fascinating.
Do a Google on the Amish for a quick education to learn the difference between Mennonites and Old Order. Hint; the Mennonites have been around longer.
We always stay at Evergreen RV Resort. Horse farm on one side, sheep across the street and you can hear the horses "klipety klopping" down the road behind the resort in the early morning. We put over 500 miles on our car just touring the area. It is so relaxing to stay there and just watch the Amish. They even give buggy rides and the place is so clean, during the spring and summer the flower beds are awesome.
Eat at the Amish Door for dinner. Lots of great antique stores around.
I can't wait to go back up there (from Jax,FL). We even stayed there at Christmas time.
try Senic hills it is about 1 to 1 1/2 miles out of town on SR 39 the price is 25 dollars a night with full hookups. You can walk to a nice food store and other shops.
Evergreen RV Resort if you want a really nice place to stay with all the amenities. It's a little North of most of the attractions but we find the drive enjoyable.
Scenic Hills if you want a decent place to park and don't expect a lot of amenities. It is still a decent little campground and you can't beat the location and price. We don't spend much time at the campground when we visit anyway. We go at least twice a year and switch between the two. Enjoy the area.
