What have you found to be the best/easiest tire gauge to check tires on a dually. Mainly the inside rear tires.

On my F450 the outside valve lines up with the inside valve but it is still a bear to get a good reading.

F450 door says 80psi in front and 75psi in rear....it came from the dealer last week with 90psi in all!

You want a dual head gauge like this one

You can pick one up at almost any truck stop.

What do you mean by "lined up"? The stems shouldn't be close enough together to cause a problem. If you don't have them, I'd get extended stems for the inside tires. Stems should be indexed away from each other, and use a duel head gauge.

Actually, my valve stems are indexed together (they line up). This is what it says in the owners manual and how I've had them for 100k miles. I have a good dual head tire pressure gage (standard truck tire gage - goes to 150 psi), and have never had a problem with either the gage or the valve stems. And yes, I have the standard extensions that allow checking with the caps in place.

I've installed braided extenders that curve to the front... also turned the outside wheel so that the valve extenders are somewhat opposite from each other.

Go to your local truck stop. They have all sorts of them available specifically designed for use on dual tires.

The main thing for me was to have one that allows you to stay on the valve stem for inflation and checking so once you have it your good to go.

Do a search for "psiclops tire gauge". I have one that is rated from 35 to 180 psi and has 2 chucks on unequal length hoses that you hook up to 2 tires at a time and can equalize pressures and add pressure to both at the same time. Works great.

For my F450 I had a truck tire store change the inside stems to a long ones like the big guys use. Traditionally, the stems should be opposite of each other. The new stems come way out into the outside wheel hole and are very easy to service.

I looked at the psiclops web site and like the idea of balancing tire pressure of both wheels at the same time. A little pricey at $99 but looks good.
