We just couldn't stand seeing the TC sitting on the pad and had to get out even for just a few days. We're currently in Belfast, Maine camped right on the ocean. Lucked out and found a spot someone else had cancelled.

Yes it is a campground with wi-fi (not boondocking) but sure is nice to put your feet up on the fence beside the camper and look out to sea. We've had almost a month of rain and today was just a pure bonus - sunny, 80F, clear blue skies.

Camden Maine is a very small town and traffic usually crawls through with parking impossible. Maybe everyone was home cutting their grass or sailing, but today we parked the TC right on the main entry road to town, walked in and got a seat immediately at Cappy's Chowder House. If you are ever in Camden, stop for their chowder!
Tonight we'll have a steak on the grill, some great Canadian beer Silversands gifted us with and go out for a walk to see the stars.

Tomorrow we'll head Down East a bit further, hoping to get into Coobscook Bay State Park. If no room there, we'll head over the bridge at Lubec to Campobello Island to the provincial park. What joy to have such beautiful places close to where we live.

Loved the picture of Camden. I've camped four times at Camden Hills State Park. Love the view of the village and harbor from the high hill in the park. So far Camden is my favortie place in Maine.

If you like to hike there is a great one just north of Camden in Lincolnville. Take Beach Road (173)west out of Lincolnville then take a left onto Youngtown Road. Immediately on your left is the access trail parking. The trailhead is about 1/2 mile down the access road and the actual trial is only about 1/2 mile. The ends definately justifies the means on this hike and the mountain is apply named. If you ever get to Boothbay Harbor make sure you don't miss the Cabbage Island Clambakes. We usually try and go at least once a year. Make sure that you make a reservation! Dave.

Hi Two:
Wish we could deliver more Scotch Ale to you there...this time at Camden!
It was great stopping by to see you in Freeport; have fun out there, and perhaps see you all at Salem

Glad to hear you've got your gypsy wagon rollin again. We've been in ours most of the summer hanging out on the Eastern Shore while our SIL redoes the kitchen at home, which included rebuilding the floor joists, due to old termite damage. We've been bouncing from Assateague, to Mimi's at Public Landing, and to the lovely State Park on the Pokomoke River. Life is good!
Love to all,

Beautiful day again. What a treat after so much rain. The TC was visited by a lot of people last evening who wanted to see how much space was inside. Quit a few A and big 5th wheel in here and they are thinking smaller. The Host shows well and we told about our trip out west and some of the smaller roads.
Might just head up to St. Andrews to Kingsbrae Gardens. With the two rallies coming up, this might be the only chance for a while. We're travelling so light, customs might get confused!
To answer a few questions: Yes we are planning to go to the Tall Pines rally this spring. Very familiar with Boothbay Harbor as used to be a chambermaid there during college summers. Didn't know about that trail in Lincolnville. And Ted we'll be by to see you!
