Funny, we had this same conversation on our rat terrier forum a few weeks ago. I guess it must be universal, all breeds must have Frito feet. I usually notice it when I'm trimming their nails. I definitely do not sniff their feet deliberately... I love my dogs... but then I wouldn't smell my spouse's feet either.

I agree, especially about my spouse's feet...washing his socks is bad enough

Well, I just sniffed my dogs' feet: two maltese and two papillons. They all smell like Fritos. I've thought this before, but never really realized that it's so common. Just as a funny side, my sweetie call parmesan cheese "stinky feet cheese" (he's referring to human feet).

If you ever toured the Frito-Lay factory you'd know what a dog's feet and greasy Fritos have in common......dirt. You think with that national secret in my brain I'd give up Fritos but sometimes I give in.
