burlmart - Before you trade in your Trail-Lite for a narrower and lower height PC, better take out the tape measure. Somewhere around the time Monaco bought R-Vision the Trail-Lites grew wider and taller. It could be when they went to a straight sidewall. My Trail-Lite measures 10'-2" tall and 94" wide, Ron has the correct dimensions as stated on the current website. My interior height is 6'-4" which just makes it useable for me. The new ones are 6'-10" tall inside. That may be a quick way of determining your height.
My unit (view profile) dimensions are more like the Holiday Rambler - another line of Monaco. I do think the Phoenix Cruiser is a fine RV and if they built them on the Chevy chassis, I would consider buying. As you know, our Chevy's drive just fine.
Your 2002 Trail-Lite looks very similar in size to the PC's made since 2004. PCs made prior have a taller over-all height (maybe just the a/c unit) and they did not have the 5 sided rear cap. That cap with storage and integrated spare tire compartment was introduced in 2004.

Thanks for the suspension comments, Ron. Always good to hear from a fellow Trail Lite guy, Gene.
I did not mean to imply we were looking at another rig. Just that with my being low vision and Martha the sole driver, I fretted over getting the smallest, most driveable, no-toad, and affordable MH that we could fit into. The TL was what we figured to be the best combo we could see (and get from local dealer), but I always wonder what difference it would be for Martha if the rig were somewhat narrower. Actually, though, she is not complaining. I can't address handling, obviously, but as for ride quality, the TL is smoother than our 1999 Toyota 4Runner Limited 2WD!

Actually I own a Phoenix Cruiser built on a 2007 Ford E350. But I am sure the same suspension upgrades apply across the board, both for Ford and Chevy chassis. If you are experiencing handling issues, my earlier comments is where to start.
