Last week mother nature got a hold of our awning and set it on the roof of the TT. We took it to our local dealer and called our insurance company(Progressive). The agent come to check it out and called us and said he will also have the tv antenna replaced since it was slightly bent. We are pretty happy with the results, and want to recommend you get insurance for the TT if you have been on the fence as to get some or not. Total cost to repair was $746, and the awning fabric was'nt even harmed. Happy camping.

Good for u., Glad it worked out - Most of the coverage is from policy on the tow vehicle itself right?

Progressive writes a seperate policy for the rv insurance. A thunder storm ripped my awning material. Called progressive on Monday. Adjuster was at my home Tuesday morning and withing 30mins had my check for repairs. In NC TV insurance only transfers liability cover to the TT while towing. No collison or comprehensive unless you have policy on the TT.

Like Xfire said, we have a seperate policy for our RV. Then we get full comp/collision, roadside, hotel stay, etc....
