Even our '94 carri-lite (not quite King of the Road) is only listed in NADA at a low retail of $9,000.

I think if the words "then it's worth" were added to the end of the add it would be accurate.

The OP is in Canada, in BC, and then on the Lower Mainland. Prices aren't as low as in the lower 48. And Lower Mainland has more competitive pricing than Vancouver Island. Not sure why the regional differences, but they can be significant.

Even so, that unit is overpriced. If it is in great condition, it would be better priced between $6,000-$7,000.

Looking at the picture, it appears this unit is at a dealer. When we were selling (1992 17.5' Prowler) and buying (2003 25' Frontier by Vanguard) in March 2008, dealers weren't giving too much up on their used units ... maybe $1,000 only and only if there was some damage. So we kept looking until we found a private deal on the unit we wanted for the right price, and for one with no damage.

That's the trick ... spend a few months looking, get to know the prices in your area, and when the right deal comes along, you'll know it. Also, on a used unit in B.C., look in every nook & cranny for water damage due to our "wet" coast climate. ... most units we saw had some degree of damage, and a couple had a lot of damage ... more extensive then the dealers were letting on.

On edit: Yup, used unit at a dealer.

I just sold a '95 Prowler 21L5B small 5th wheel back in February for $4,900, and it was RV port kept, in excellent condition. Seeing the asking price of that unit, maybe I should have asked for more for mine.
