Have one wife "TDDUP". High school sweet harts. We waited 7 years after high school till we had "our" house and other stuff ready to mary. Can't see getting another one. Would not be anyone to match what we have been through together.
The "GOOD" and the "BAD" have made us as one. She would be GREATLY missed but I can't see ever "replaced". JMO

many of the full time couples we have met were on their second marriage.

According to enrichment journal on the divorce rate in America:
The divorce rate in America for first marriage is 41%
The divorce rate in America for second marriage is 60%
The divorce rate in America for third marriage is 73%

Our divorce rate might be higher than other countries but it's mostly because our marriage rate is higher. In much of Europe, couples don't bother with the formality of marriage.

Of all the full-timer's I actually know, most have been married before. Death, abuse and sickness are some of the reason's for the second marriages.

Wow, some incredible numbers here. We've been at it 37+ years, I wouldn't change a thing.

Second marriage for both of us - only 9 yrs. though. While RVing wasn't a desire for either of us w/ our former partners (they definitely were NOT interested and think we're nuts now!), DH and I love FT!

Since I firmly believe you must be best friends to FT, it's hard for me to imagine getting remarried to someone who is NOT your bf. I mean, really, why bother?

just my 2 cents , but alot of people now seem to be on a 2nd or 3rd spouse , I think what you are seeing in the rv world is just a reflection of the world in general , you just don't find that out about everyone else you come across
