Thanks for all the kind words guys! There's nothing like hearing that turbo, and really feeling your truck work for you all under 3k RPM's. Coming down those 10% grades I was actually getting sleepy. That's how relaxed I was. Before I would be stressed white knuckling riding the brakes; man that sucked. My new truck is money well spent!
This one's really gonna get spoiled. I plan on tinting the windows tomorrow, and giving it a wax job before winter, and it will stay in the garage when not towing.

I bought my first diesel last year (Dodge/Cummins, of course). Also my first 4X4. I don't ever see myself going back to a gas vehicle. Love the power and, of course, that exhaust brake. 4X4 has come in handy a few times, too.

I think it's worth it just to get the "new vehicle smell" in the interior, congrats and enjoy.

You don't even know how good it is yet. Wait until you get about 15K on it and it's fully broke in, it just gets smother and more responsive!

Nice truck Mr. Ed. Just like mine except mine's black. I got those chrome steps too, and chrome diamond plate bed caps. Another reason I love my new truck is because it's still short enough to fit in the garage yet has four doors on the "right" way. I've had extended cabs in the past, and I can't stand those backwards opening rear doors. Makes the whole door assembly appear weak and wobbly.

That is exactly why I bought my QC shortbed. It fits in the garage. Too bad I never actually park it in there!

Congrats on the truck. I got rid of my 2004 last year and went for the 2007. I love the auto. After owning a 99 Dodge, I vowed never to have an auto again but this new 6spd auto with the exhaust brake has been great. No problems at all.

Yep, I'm glad I got the short bed and single rear wheels, too. I haven't had any issues when making sharp turns when towing my fiver. The extended kingpin helps. Although I have a manual sliding hitch I've only used it twice, and both those times probably didn't need to...just a precaution.
