Is anybody aware of any State or Federal preserved land boondocking sites that a trailer could sit on for a few days? We are interested in Cutler Coast hiking and are looking for a cheap or free place to park the TT for a couple of days nearby. If there isn't anything, we will use Cobscook Bay State Park. Thanks.

just up in that area the other day-cobscook bay would be your best bet.there are 2 private campgrounds in lubec.i know there are 3 primitive sites at bold coast, but i'm not sure about overnighting in the parking lot.a check with the local constabulary might get you an answer one way or the other.
there's a guide book,"bold coast trails",which can be had locally and covers most of the trails in the area.the hiking is great at bold coast-the only other place i've hiked that was comparable was out on grand manan.
be sure to check out the trails at west quoddy head sp,boot head, shackford head and moosehorn nwr and go take a look atthe reversing falls at pembroke.
